Early hand-dominance patterns skew your neuromuscular system toward one side, creating subtle twists through your ribcage, pelvis, and spine that manifest as overuse symptoms—think shoulder impingement, neck pain, low-back discomfort, or hip/knee irritation. Because your brain favors the dominant limb, it reinforces strength and tension there while under-recruiting the opposite side, leading to imbalances. Incorporating cross-body drills, routine mobility and stability assessments, and proprioceptive exercises helps retrain both sides of your body, correct postural biases, and relieve chronic aches caused by years of asymmetrical movement.

Body Composition
Think of body composition as a series of integrated layers, beginning deep at the joint and ligamentous capsules that provide mechanical stability and proprioceptive feedback; moving outward through organized muscle groups and fascial compartments richly threaded with blood vessels and peripheral nerves that power and regulate every contraction; and finishing at the superficial fascia, dermal connective tissue, and skin—each layer seamlessly communicating via the cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, and nervous systems. 3 PLANES OF MOTION
Every joint—from the hinge-like knee to the ball-and-socket shoulder—is anatomically designed to operate through three primary planes of motion (sagittal, frontal, and transverse), yet our daily habits rarely activate all three equally. Hand dominance and repetitive tasks bias us toward certain movement paths, leaving other planes underutilized and joints “stuck.” Over time, this creates fascial and muscular restrictions, circulatory inefficiencies, and neural under‐stimulation in neglected directions. The result? Localized pain, chronic inflammation, compensatory muscle tightness or weakness, and an elevated injury risk.
